About Us

Eng. Laith Al-Khalaf is a seasoned expert in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Telecom and IT industries. He is passionate about empowering individuals and organizations through knowledge and innovation. Laith co-develops and delivers security awareness training and has managed numerous projects involving application/network penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and design reviews. Laith holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (2001) and a PGHP in Telecommunications (2003), with research on optical filters. He is certified by Harvard University in “Managing Risk in the Information Age,” the University of Helsinki in Building AI, and IBM in Applied AI. Additionally, he is a certified Ethical Hacker and Pen-tester, holds a CompTIA Sec+ certification, and is a PECB certified trainer. As an instructor, Laith is renowned for his creative and engaging teaching style, ensuring that his learners not only grasp complex concepts but also acquire practical skills they can apply in real-world scenarios. His ability to break down intricate topics into digestible insights sets him apart as a trusted mentor and educator in the field.

Laith joined ICON Contracting in 2017 as the Mobile Solutions Manager and Information Security Consultant, bringing over 13 years of experience in the mobile telecom and IT industry. His career began at ZAIN (formerly MTC) as VAS & SMS Team Leader (2004-2008), followed by a role as IT Manager at Shaheen Al Ghanim Constructions Company. From 2009 to 2017, he served as Vice Chairman for Business Developments & Operations at Aiwa Gulf. With a unique blend of technical expertise and teaching excellence, Eng. Laith Al-Khalaf is dedicated to advancing cybersecurity and AI knowledge, inspiring the next generation of professionals to excel in these dynamic and ever-evolving domains.
